Babymetal is the sensational Japanese band made up of three young ladies… Suzuka Nakamoto (“Su-metal”), Yui Mizuno (“Yuimetal”), and Moa Kikuchi (“Moametal”). But it’s their live backing band, collectively known as the “Kami Band” — “Kami” meaning “God” in Japanese if that gives you an idea of their talent — that includes several ESP players who make up some of the finest players in the Japanese metal scene. In appreciation of ESP’s relationship with Babymetal and the Kami Band, we’re introducing the limited-edition ESP E-II Arrow-7 Babymetal. The guitar is a 7-string model based on the E-II Arrow-7 style but with some killer extra touches, like the red finish on the body bevels. It’s a neck-thru-body design with an alder body, a three-piece maple neck, and an ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets. Its high-end components include Schaller strap locks, Gotoh locking tuners, and a Floyd Rose Original bridge. The Arrow-7 Babymetal’s tone is powered with a set of active EMG 707 and EMG 81-7 pickups. As a special limited-edition guitar, the ESP E-II Arrow-7 Babymetal is available via special order only through your authorized ESP dealer. A special hard case and Certificate of Authenticity are included.
