Pamela Baxter has been teaching Cello in Chester County for the past 10 years. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Connecticut College, majoring in music, and went on to study cello with Aldo Parisot at Yale University. She is a member of Amici Strings, the Providence Chamber Orchestra, and the Providence String Quartet, and enjoys a busy performance schedule. Pam enjoys working with all ages, particularly children. Her goal for her students is for them to love cello and to become the best musicians that they can be. Along with teaching others the technical aspects of how to play cello, she wants to help them learn how to make music come alive, and how to enrich their lives with the beauty of that creation. Depending on the student, Pam uses either traditional or the Suzuki Method or a blend of the two. She always looks for ways to make lessons engaging and fun.
