Over the 20+ year history of the series, Yamaha Xeno trumpets have continued to evolve with the artists who play them. In 2014, drawing from the knowledge and innovative concepts learned through the development of the Artist Model Chicago C trumpet, the entire Yamaha Xeno Bb series was redesigned to attain the ultimate goal of ideas musical expression. The Yamaha YTR-8335IIS is a .459″ medium-large bore Bb trumpet. Bell material options for Bb Xenos include: yellow brass – for clear sound with strong projection, and gold brass – for warmer, deeper sound.
