Monica Zheng is a Bachelor of Music degree candidate in the Music Therapy program at West Chester University, projected to graduate in 2022. Passionate about exploring music with her students, Monica learned at a young age how difficult it is to choose just one instrument! She began playing the violin in 1998, and throughout her student career explored a multitude of musical instruments including, brass, woodwinds, strings, piano, and voice. She’s been accepted into the highly competitive PA Music Educator Association’s honors ensembles at the District, Region, and All-State level for orchestra, band, and chorus! Monica has been teaching and/or performing violin, viola, cello, piano, flute, and low brass regularly in the Chester County Area since 2010. Additionally, she performs with several community music organizations like Miner St. Brass, Chester County Concert Band, and Concordia Choral Arts. She gigs frequently with her wedding string quartet, Allegro Music, and can also be heard in pit orchestras for local schools and theater companies. Monica is pleased to offer piano, violin, and cello lessons at Taylor’s for students of all ages and experience levels.
